I had the best start possible!

1. How long have you been at symmedia – and what is your area of responsibility?

I have been working as a Scrum Master at symmedia since 01 August 2023 and I am in charge of two teams.

2. What do you particularly like about symmedia?

The fact that I was well-received by all employees right from the start and integrated into the team gave me the best possible start. I also like that I can work independently and make decisions here.

3. How are you using our Fit for Future program?

I use the Fit for Future program by, for example, extending my break and going for a walk. In the future, I would also like to use the time to donate blood – this not only has good side effects physically, but is also good for mental health because you are doing something good for society.

4. What’s an “essential” on your office desk?

Definitely my headphones. Not only for meetings but also to listen to music in between. Personally, that helps me to work in a focused way.

5. What do you do in your leisure time?

First and foremost, I spend a lot of time with my family in my free time – this includes my son, my husband and my dog. I also spend a lot of time outdoors and – whether it’s a weekend getaway or a vacation abroad – I love to travel!

6. Would you tell us your favorite movie?

Instead of a favorite movie, may I reveal my one favorite series? That would be “From” (a horror series). But I also like “Stranger Things” and – I like watching documentaries.

7. What is your definition of happiness?

For me, happiness is above all having a healthy family. Furthermore, it makes me happy to get to know other cultures and to see more and more of the world: Every trip is a great added value, as I can always gain something for myself from it. To have this opportunity and to share this with my family – that is the greatest happiness for me.
